Munich Security Conference 2017 Protests - Audio Slide

This short audio slide shows the demonstration of the opponents of the 53rd Munich Security Conference (MSC) on 18 February 2017 in Munich, Germany. The Munich Security Conference (MSC) has been a meeting of international security policy makers, military and armament industries since 1963. It is the world's largest meeting of its kind. The conference takes place annually in February, the meeting place is the Hotel Bayerischer Hof in Munich. This year it took place from 17 to 19 February 2017. According to the police, almost 1900 people participated in the protests. 4000 demons were expected in advance. The police were with the largest squad (4,000 men) on the scene. Perhaps a reason that fewer and fewer people come to the most peaceful demonstrations.

For me personally, demonstrations and freedom of expression are the basic building blocks of our democracy that EVERY citizen should and can make use of. It is more important than ever to stand up for freedom and peace. This is also the reason why the events on the streets during the Security Conference are more interesting to me than the politicians in the Hotel Bayerischer Hof.

Today I had the pleasure to shoot with the beautiful and talented professional dancer Alisa at a breathtaking location. The shooting is part of a three day campaign for a big assurance company. Already a big shout out for the great team around and the support of my friend and college Michael Wong.

Javi Martínez - FC BAYERN

On behalf of Bilbao's newspaper El Correo I had the possibility to meet Spanish international Javi Martínez of FC Bayern Munich in sunny Munich, Germany, today. Martínez is born in the South of Basque-Country and played six years for Athletic Bilbao. It has been the first interview for El Correo after he left Bilbao in 2012.
